For a private client, Janneke designed a garden that would incorporate various wishes. Sightlines were most important, since they wanted to optimize their view on the rural surrounding. It was important to be able to sit in the sun at all times and have a view of the meadow next to the garden. The new barn/living studio also had to be positioned in such a way that there was sufficient privacy to turn it into a bed and breakfast. Another wish was that they could easily realise the design themselves. They would fill the borders Janneke designed with plants of their choice, so a planting plan was not necessary.
